Slam Locks

Slam Lock

A slam lock is a device that automatically locks the vehicle door immediately when it is shut, without requiring any operation by the driver. Human error is the single largest cause for vehicles being left unlocked. It will automatically lock when the vehicle door closes and cannot be reopened unless the correct high-security key is used, ensuring the door is always locked which dramatically reduces the chance of theft from the vehicle.

It is primarily designed for applications such as multi drop delivery, high value loads and applications where the owner/ operator requires control over the security of their goods. It is the function that appeals as much as the security. Another major advantage with mechanical slam locks is total control.

Key Features:

  • Door specific kits
  • Direct release allows single handed operation
  • Anti-drill, anti-pick offers high security
  • Industry standard with couriers
  • Thatcham approved

Slam Handles:

Slam Handles

There is a growing problem with van handles being removed easily due to the way they are fixed; through plastic clips and un-secure fittings. Whilst other products offer limited protection, the Slam Handle is the only product which provides full protection against this break-in method. It is the secure alternative to the often-vulnerable existing manufacturers’ handle - generally requiring no additional drilling or fixing points for installation.

The Slam Handle provides increased integrity and strength of the OEM locking system and incorporates our Slam Lock. It will automatically lock when the vehicle door closes and cannot be reopened unless the correct high-security key is used. The Slam Handle incorporates the Slam Lock.

Rep Handles are also available if you already have Slam Locks already installed.
